Re: Current approved salary structure for health sector in Nigeria

Nurses in Nigeria’s salary is based on the Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS). The federal government introduced this structure in 2009. It came to full effect in 2010.
Also, the salaries of other healthcare professionals such as Pharmacists, Physiotherapists, Medical Laboratory Scientists, and Radiographers are also based on this structure. But the doctors have a different salary structure-the CONMESS.
An entry-level nurse can not be placed lower than CONHESS 07 on the salary structure. However, as the nurse’s years of experience increase so also will he or she rise on the salary structure accumulating more pay in the process.

Assuming that I take up an appointment with LUTH or FMC now as RN, RAEN, where will I belong and what will be the total package?
Conhess 07, total package
Thanks, is it net pay after Shift allowance, Teaching allowance, Hazard allowance has been added or just basic salary for Conhess 7 is #80,000? Please explain better, thanks
Is excluding hazard and shift duty allowance.
Conhress 07 do not get teaching allowancein summary, Hazard allowance is not for Conhess 7 and 8, what of shift allowance? Is it applicable to 7 and 8 or not?Basic salary, you start collecting teaching allowance at conhess 9
No ,u will have all allowances except teaching allowances
The appointment letter of LUTH may not carry specialty. Maybe as nursing officer 11 or staff nurse.
Lagos State may rate you as NO1 or SNO because of RAEN.
The best is to approach the institution to make enquiry. Good luck
