The female nurse preference by mostly private hospitals is alarming in Nigeria. This if not checked will force many of us the male nurses to switch to other fields where we can be accepted.
You go to a hospital and because it is involved in gynae and obstetrics the male nurses are not an option. What then is the use of studying those areas.
Please let this issue be addressed. Let the doctors be made to understand that male nurses are trained to work in any unit in a hospital.
