What do patient think of nurse attitudes and behaviors

It is often said that attitude is everything. I say to you that this statement is as good as saying that proper attitude is everything. This seems to be a particularly important characteristic of a good nurse.
The attitude and character of nurses should be equal with their clinical skills.

Much as nurses can deliver care that is clinically competent, but uncaring – attitude and character are just as minus on competence.

Nurses should be able to deliver a service that is “capable, safe, knowledgeable, understanding and completely focused on the needs of the people in their care” with right attitudes.

You often hear the indifference and uncaring attitude of nurses in public and private hospitals toward their patients..

How true is this perception of the public on this behavior?

TO OUR MOST ESTEEMED TRAINED NURSES!

I have noticed that people complained so much about nurses attitude, pls let us work on it, we are overwhelmed with work, but we must not allow the stress to affect our attitudes and work output. Let us season our words, talk with calmness, explain situations logically to our clients. Do not be harsh or unnecessarily aggressive. We need to reposition nursing within the Nigeria context. In all honesty, it takes a great deal to be a nurse. In terms of training, and work. We always had it bad with the gullible ignorant society we are in, who does not know the role, the making and the contributions of nurses to health care delivery.

Never the less, we must continue to prove our worth till they will understand. Though every dick and harry wear nurses uniform and love to be addressed as a nurse, we trained nurses have ethics and owes the profession a lot, we really need to distinguish ourselves in every ramifications of life. We must be ready to answer the name and carry the tittle NURSE.

WE ARE THE ENVY OF THOSE TRYING TO BE LIKE US. LET US PROVE OUR WORTH.

Kudos to all nurses out there.

The Nurse attendants in the dialysis focus are extraordinary. They have a great deal of persistence and expertise and they make what is an extremely miserable circumstance to some degree more charming to manage. I will get a kick out of the chance to express profound gratitude to every single one of them.
