. The Court Judgement and agreement signed with the government would be addressed
. That issue of salary adjustment will be taken care of
. That he will ensure that the white paper that will be generated from Yayale Ahmeds commitee report presently undergoing the process of white paper fromation would bring expected harmony and peace in the health sector

In view of the above, he directed the Honourable Minister of Health Dr Khalil Alhassan to meet with the leadership of JOHESU the following day Monday 2nd February 2015 at 2pm

JOHESU at the meeting in the Federal Ministry of Health Expressed the commitment and reassurances made by Mr President over the implementation of all the issues before announcing the suspension of the strike.

In his response, the Minister appealed to JOHESU and the entire health workers to be more dedicated to their work while every effort would be made to make the working environment conducive and peaceful and that no member of JOHESU would be victimised for taking part in the strike.

Even president Obama knows the injustice in our health sector let alone GEJ. It is even a sheer dereliction and negligence on his side to pretend not to know. I vividly recall the events that heralded his appointment of Onyebuchi as minister for health, hence he overtly beseeched him to set his house (health sector) in order. That was when he was Ag President and pretending to be a good servant in order to score cheap political gains. Ask him what happened after; did he asked or verified whether that minister carried out his assignments? This is the same GEJ that has claimed all round transformation across ministries (including health) and regions that now accepting his flaws in this areas for us to give him benefit of doubt. Last week he concured that he has not done well to south-south region, and now JOHESUITES.

This is another political jingoism to woo us. Where was GEJ since two months and two weeks JOHESU is on strike? Just empty threat by JOHESU to boycott the election has jolted him into meeting with the union. All these meetings, agreements and promises are for the election; after the election he will use another policy to revoke or rescind all these rubber stamp agreements and promises. It is unfortunate that Nigeria may not easily have a good leader! However, I commend the dexterity and wisdom exhibited by JOHESU leaders to suspend the strike when the ovation is high lest after the election we would ve become prosaic and indifferent and loss of savour. I strongly believe that only 'Janjaweed approach' can solve the problem of health sector not even health conference.

You can see that despite the ethno-religious crises in Nigeria, no region or tribe can again attempt to seccede because the aftermath of the civil war is always jittering us. Fellow colleagues rejoice not for any disguised development U may see in health sector but because in all these marginalizations and grandstanding, we are not consumed and we that our hope is not built on man.

Once again I welcome u all to ur legitimate duty posts this 2015.
