Tracking Ovulation
A woman’s month-to-month cycle is measured from the primary day of her menstrual duration unless the first day of her next period. On average, a girl’s cycle generally is between 28-32 days, however some girls will have a lot shorter or for much longer cycles. Ovulation can be calculated by beginning with the primary day of the remaining menstrual length (LMP) or by means of calculating 12-16days from the following expected length.

Most women ovulate any place between Day 11 – Day 21 of their cycle, counting from the first day of the LMP.That is what many check with as the “fertile time” of a girl’s cycle, Because sexual intercourse during this time increases the possibility of being pregnant. Ovulation can happen at more than a few times during a cycle, and may just happen on a unique day each and every month.

The Ovulation Cycle Divided Into Two Components:

The primary part of the ovulation cycle is known as the follicular section. This phase starts the first day of the final menstrual period (LMP) and continues until ovulation. This primary half of the cycle can differ greatly for each and every woman lasting anywhere from 7 days until forty days. The second half of the cycle is known as the luteal section and is from the day of ovulation until the next length starts off evolved. The luteal section has a extra exact timeline and on a regular basis is most effective 12-16 days from the day of ovulation. This not directly means that the day of ovulation will determine how long your cycle is. This additionally implies that outdoor elements like stress, sickness, and disruption of normal routine can throw off your ovulation which then ends up in altering the time your duration will come.

So the outdated idea that stress can impact your duration is handiest partly real. Stress can affect your ovulation which in some way determines when your length will come, however stress across the time of an anticipated length will not make it late—it was already determined when it might come 12-16 days earlier!

Fertility awareness is one method to observe when ovulation happens, and it includes learning the adjustments in cervical mucus and using a basal thermometer.
  • Cervical fluid will change to a moist, slippery substance that resembles “egg whites” just before ovulation happens and until ovulation is over.
A basal thermometer helps monitor a physique temperature upward thrust, which alerts that ovulation has just occurred.
Differently to track ovulation is through ovulation kits and fertility displays. These can also be bought online. monitoring ovulation can lend a hand a girl get a greater thought of when pregnancy can and can not happen during her monthly cycle. once ovulation has befell, there is nothing you are able to do to increase your possibilities of pregnancy. the next move is to begin looking at for early pregnancy symptoms.
View and print an Ovulation Calendar to higher have in mind your menstruation cycle and ovulation.
From The Menstrual Duration To Ovulation (the main points you can also not comprehend!)
When your menstrual cycle starts, your estrogen ranges are low. Your hypothalamus (which is in command of sustaining your hormone levels) sends out a message to your pituitary gland which then sends out the follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). This FSH triggers a few of your follicles to turn into mature eggs. any such will become the dominant follicle, in order to unencumber a mature egg and the others will disintegrate.

MENSTRUAL CYCLE AND OVULATION .

Most girls don't understand this because of much heavy grammar used to teach it. Every woman has to listen to her body. Start listening to your body for these signs and confirm.

MENSTRUAL PERIOD:The time blood flows out of your private area, when you use pad.

MENSTRUAL CYCLE: Days it takes to see another blood in the month. If you last saw your period in June 11th and it started again on July 10th 2017, then you have 30days cycle (count from 11 June to 10 July).

NOTE: It is erroneous to believe its 28days cycle, different women have different cycles ranging from 21-35 days.

OVULATION PERIOD: This is time to get pregnant without stress. This is 2 weeks after your period or 2 weeks before the next period.

The luteal phase is constant which is 14 days. For example your menstrual cycle is 30 days, ovulation will occur on day 16 (i.e 30-14=16), or (i.e 28-14=14), so if your cycle is 35days, ovulation will occur on day 21 (i.e 35-14=21).

Here's a simple way to calculate your ovulation (unsafe) period.

1. From the first day you see the blood of your period.
2. Pick up a calendar and count 14 days including the first day of the blood stain.
3. Mark the 14th day with a pen.
4. Mark 3 days before the 14th day, and mark 3 days after the 14th day.

These 6days are your ovulation/fertile days also known as unsafe period.

That is if you have sex on any of these days, then you have 98% chances of being pregnant.
6. Do this every month diligently

EVERY OTHER DAY IS YOUR SAFE PERIOD.
For example:
1. If your period is 11th July, 2017,
2. 14 days after the first day of the blood stain will be on 24th of this July too (2weeks after) counting from 11th.
3. 14th day is on the 24th July 2017.
4. 3days before the 14th day is 21, 22, 23.
5. 3days after 25th July 2017 is 25,26,27.
6. 21-27th July is when you are ovulating. It is your fertile period.

Don't forget that sperm stays in the female body for about 72hrs. Any sexual contact in between ovulation period will form something that has ears, eyes, etc.

MAJOR SIGNS THAT YOUR OVULATION HAS BEGAN...
You don't need a doctor, just relax. After 2 weeks you may feel the following:
1. Headache.
2. High body temperature.
3. Dizziness (feeling of tiredness and sleepiness).
4. Breast tenderness/ size increases just like when you are menstruating.
5. Increased sex drive.
6. Light cramps or pain on one side of the pelvis.
7. Abdominal bloating.
8. Heightened sense of smell, taste or vision (you eat more).
9. Vagina mucus becomes slippery (if you notice, put it in between fingers...it stretches like thick catarrh or snail mucus...colorless like egg white.

To determine sex of a baby depends on the man and not the woman. The man carries XY while the woman carries XX . when fertilization takes place the chances of getting male or female is 50%.

From biology, when we cross link we have- XX, XX, XY, XY . so when pregnancy occurs, the probability of getting a male child is (2/4) x 100%= 50%. The probability for a female child is also (2/4) x 100%=50%. The egg that is released by women during ovulation is always XX.

The two ovaries don't release egg the same month. Only one does and the other will be resting and vice visa the following month.

For those asking how to calculate ovulation and fertile days, here we go again

First you need to know your cycle length before you can know your likely ovulation day. Note that a normal cycle length ranges between 21-35 days, anything below 21 days or above 35 days is abnormal, so see a doctor).

To know your cycle length (that is how many days it takes before you see your menstrual period) you start counting from the FIRST day you saw blood to the FIRST day you'll see blood of your next period (which can be within the same month or the next month, it doesn't matter so long as the number of days is within the normal range of 21-35 days when you count the interval between previous & present).

E.g
If your period started today, 9th June and that of July started maybe on 5th July.
If you count from 9th June to 5th July, you have 27 days, so 27 days is your cycle length. It might not be 27 days for every month but always count from the FIRST day of an existing period to FIRST day of the next one to get your cycle length.

When you can accurately calculate your cycle length, you can then be able to know when to likely ovulate and also your fertile window.

To calculate ovulation/fertile days after you have known your cycle length which can be anything between 21-35 days.

ALWAYS USE 14 as a constant factor that should be applied to know your ovulation day irrespective of the cycle length.

E.g

If the cycle length is 27 days.
You subtract 14 from 27 to know your ovulation day.

27-14=13

The 13th day counting from the first day your period started is likely your ovulation day (and it lasts for 24 hrs).
Your fertile window is 5 days before the ovulation day & a day after (7 days altogether).

To illustrate better,

If your period started today, 9th June and you have already calculated your cycle length to be 27 days, applying the 14 factor to calculate ovulation (27-14=13) you are likely to ovulate on 21st June (counting 13 days from 9th June which is the first day your period started) and fertile window will be 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th & 20th & 22nd June (that is five days before ovulation day & a day after).

I hope this helps.

Medical Health Series..
FACTS ABOUT EGGS AND OVULATION

Most women release an egg cell every cycle, this is called ovulation. Some women can release two egg cells per cycle, this will result in TWIN birth.

Once ovulation has happened, the female egg cell that’s released starts to deteriorate very quickly and the fertile window starts to close. After 12-24 hours the egg cell will die and it won’t be possible to become pregnant again until the next cycle. This is why its good for a woman to always track her fertile days and ovulation day.
As we get older, so do our cells and the female egg cell is no exception. Although women are born with millions of eggs, the quality of these goes down over time. Many die off before a woman even hit puberty, meaning a woman is left with 700,000 egg cells by the time menstruation begins.

Ovulation is essential to getting pregnant—but it takes more than just an egg to conceive. For example, the pathway to the egg must be clear. If the fallopian tubes are blocked, pregnancy can’t occur. Also, you need sperm. If a man sperm has problems, you may not get pregnant.

Getting pregnant isn’t only about the woman’s fertility. The man must be OK TOO.
