INTRODUCTION
Every organization evolves from time to time in order to align her practices with global expectation. Nursing as a profession has an obligation to ensure that Nursing organizations and her members review their practices and values in order to play leading role in modern healthcare delivery system. This conference focuses on nurse’s relevance in the context of Sustainable development goals, their capacity to address emerging and re-emerging disease conditions and their readiness to develop leadership and regulatory framework that will help them to actively engage in actions aimed at the achievement of sustainable development Goals in Nigeria.
Specific Objectives:
To review the operational and strategic goals of nursing profession in Sustainable Development Goals era.
To promote the utilization of private nursing practice in the achievement of Universal healthcare access
To promote discourse and review the role of nurses in addressing the challenges of healthcare delivery and population health
To review the current context of private nursing practice with the health policy, the healthcare industry and implications in the achievement of Sustainable development goals
To develop an attractive structure that will draw younger nurses into private practice.
