Maintain Good Posture While Using Technology

Unread post by HyunBae »

Staying in one position for longer periods of time is one of the major causes of neck pain. You should maintain a good posture and sit properly when using handheld mobile devices, laptops, game machines and desktop computers but it is important to stand up and do some stretches to relax your muscles. If you work in an environment where there is no chance you can go for a walk, at least you can stand up and stretch your back and neck muscles to prevent potential damages. I can remember when I was in nursing school, they always told us to save your back. They also showed us a way to bend down that was not harmful or hurting of your back. They told us to keep your back straight while bending and use as much leg strength as you can. So, I tried it and my back has felt so much better.
