Being a NURSE isn't about grades.

Being a NURSE isn't about grades.

It's about being who we are.

No book can teach you how to cry with a patient.

No class can teach you how to tell a family that their child has died or is dying

No professor can teach you how to find dignity in giving someone a bed bath.

A nurse is not about the pills, the injections, the IV's and the charting,

Its about being able to LOVE people when they are at their WEAKEST moments and being able to forgive them for all their wrongs and make a difference in their lives.
No one can make you a nurse...................

YOU JUST ARE!

"NURSING is rooted from the needs of humanity and is founded on the ideal of service. And that, “the nurse is temporarily the consciousness of the unconscious, the love of life for the suicidal, the leg of the amputee, the eyes of the newly blind, a means of locomotion for the infant, knowledge and confidence for the mother and the mouthpiece for those too weak or withdrawn to speak."

Hi
Nursing is an emotionally challenging job. Nursing is a profession where joy meets sadness, where courage must outweigh fear. There is a great need for providing more support specially to the new nurses.

Being a nurse isn’t about grades, it’s about being who we are. No book can teach you how to cry with a patient. No class can teach you how to tell their family that their parents have diet or are dying. No professor can teach you how to find dignity in giving someone a bed bath. A nurse is not about the pills or charting. It’s about being able to love people when they are at their weakest moments. – Anonymous

“Nursing is the protection, promotion, and optimization of health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response, and advocacy in the care of individuals, families, communities, and populations.“
