2.0 Registration period
2.1 The registration period is monday, 21st March 2016 to friday, 24th June, 2016 and the website closes on sunday, 3rd July, 2016.
3.0 General entry requirements for direct entry application (DE)
Applicants with one of the following qualifications may be considered for admission by direct entry.
a. A minimum of five (5) subjects passed at not more than two sittings with at least two at the principal or advanced level of the G.C.E. and the others at credit level of the SSCE/GCE, NTC/NBC. No subject shall be counted at both ordinary and advanxed levels.
b. Two passes at the IJMB advanced level Examination, Joint University preliminary examination board (JUPEB) or cambridge moderated schools of basic studies terminal examination or instotute of baccalaureate from recognised institutions with SSCE/GCE, NTS/NBC credit equivalent in three other sybjects (SUBJECT TO UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENT).
C. Passes in two major subjects in the NCE with S.S.C.E. NTC/NBC credit or equivalents in THREE other subjects (mainly for education courses). Education may be accepted as a third A'Level subject for those taking courses in Education.
d. Candidates are to note they will be required to provide their reqistration number which they used in gaining admission into their NCE, diploma etc.
5.0 Registration
The registration cards are available in the approved banks.
6.0 Registration Documents
At tne point of purchase of the e-registration scratch cards, the following document shall be made available for collection by every candidat.
Guidelines on admission (Brochure) in soft copy detailing list of tertiary Institutions and available programmes of study.
Please note that the items listed above are at NO EXTRA cost to the candidates.
7.0 Registration Centres
7.1 In line with the Board's regulated registration exercise, only the accredited computer based test centres will be allowed to register candidates.
8.0 General Information
i. The registration fee, once paid is non-refundable.
ii. Registration for the Direct Entry (DE) is On-Line (via internet) and all applicants are advised to register by themselves. All required information must be provided.
iii. Applicants are advised to read and understand the instructions on how to complate the on-line registration before visiting any CBT centre for the registration.
iv. Candidates should study the guidelines on admission before registration.
v. Candidates who damage or lose their scratch crads before registration will have to purchase another scratch card.
vi. Multiple entries are not allowed candidates who register more than once will have their antire registration cancelled.
vii. Candidates should note that their uploaded image or photograph will be embossed on their registration slips and admission letters.
viii. Candidates can access the Board's website on http://www.jamb.org.ng for registration using the registration scratch card. Registration can be done on the website at anytime within the stipulated registration period through any of the acccredited and authorised CBT centres.
Candidates are to note that there will on extension of the date of regiatration.

Five SSCE credit passes in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English Language
UTME SUBJECTS
Physics, Chemistry and Biology
DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
(i) Two ‘A’ level passes from Biology/Zoology, Chemistry and Physics plus 3 other ‘O’ level credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and English Language.
(ii) NRN or its approved equivalent plus five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language and one Science subjects chosen from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Human Anatomy, Physiology and Hygiene, Health Science, Further Mathematics and General Science.
DIRECT ENTRY:
(i) UNN accepts:
(a) candidates for Anaesthesia who possess Diploma in Nursing Anaesthesia will have an advantage. Those
without the Diploma will be required to undergo a six months post graduation internship at own expense before professional registration. UNN also requires Certificate of Registered Nurse (RN) or SRN plus UTME requirements.
(b) Nurses registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (N&MCN), who also possess UTME requirement
(c) Three GCE "A" level certificate with passes in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry in not more than two sittings plus UTME requirement.
(d) First degree holders in related disciplines are eligible to apply.
(ii) JOS requires three 'A' level and passes in Chemistry, Physics and Biology/Zoology plus 'O' level credit passes in Mathematics and English Language.
(iii) BIU and CALABAR require NRN or its approved equivalent plus five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language and one Science subject from the subjects as listed in “Direct Entry Requirement” column plus two years registration nursing of experience. IBADAN accepts possession of any one of the following professional qualifications:
(a) General Nursing;
(b) Psychiatric Nursing;
(c) Mid-Wifely.
(iv) ABU and IBADAN accept:
(a) Nursing/Midwife Diploma;
(b) Nursing Admin. Diploma; and
(c) ‘A’ level passes.
(v) IBADAN requires two years Post Registration Experience but will give preference to those with more than five years experience and candidates with 1st Degree in health related disciplines.
(vi) ABU requires at least one year post registration experience.
(vii) EBSU, LAUTECH and OAU accept an RN Diploma or its equivalent (as approved by Senate) plus ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
(viii) PHC and NDU - No Direct Entry.
(viii) IBADAN requires 2 A' level passes in Chemistry, Biology and Physics plus UTME requirements.
(ix) FUTO accepts OND/HND at Upper Credit level in Environmental Sciences , Dental Technology, Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology and
Prosthetics and Orthopaedic Technology
(x) LAUTECH accepts:
(a) (i) GCE 'A’ Level or its approved equivalent with passes in Chemistry, Biology and Physics (or Zoology)
(b) Registered Nurse (RN) Certificates(plus UTME requirements)
(c) First Degree of LAUTECH approved by Senate in any related courses or profession(plus UTME requirements)may be considered for admission.
(d) Holders of Advance Diploma Certificate from OYSCANS as approved by the Senate
(x) OAU accepts Certificate of Registered Nurse (RN) or SRN.
(xi) CALABAR also accepts B.Sc Biological Sciences plus O/L requirements.
(xii) AAU accepts
(i) Registered Nurse/Midwife RN, RM with one year post registration experience; as well as RN,RPN or RN,RNA, or RN,RNT for DE admission. They must
also satisfy UTME requirement.
(ii) A good first degree in related field e.g Biochemistry, Anatomy, Human Physiology, Health Education, Psychology, Guidance and Counseling.
(iii) Does not accept a degree in Zoology and Botany for Direct Entry Admissions
UTME
(i) ABU and IBADAN: No admission through UTME.
(ii) IBADAN requires 5 or 6 'O' level credit passes at one or two sittings to include English Language, Biology/Health Sci, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other one of the following: Economics, Government, Lit-in-English, History, Geography, Physics, (this will be an advantage).
(iii) UNN requires Five O level credit passes in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English Language in not more than two sittings in SSCE or its equivalent.
(iv) AAU requires five 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry at a sitting.

Biology, Physics, Chemistry.
The 2015/2016 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (Jamb) Computer Base Test (CBT) Registration Closing Date deadline has been extended/postponed by the Jamb board, by Prof. Dibu, The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially extend the closing date for the 2015/2016 UTME registration, which was previously 19th of January, to Friday, the 30th of January, 2015.
Please take note that the Examination has been scheduled to commence on the 28th of February, 2015- 14th of March, 2015.

The earlierier scheduled deadline has been nullified as new closing dates has been announced. Interested members of the public that wish to apply for the 2015 JAMB DE registration are hereby informed to take full advantage of this extension before the expiration of the latest deadline.
This is to inform the public that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has postponed the deadline for 2015 Direct Entry Sales of Scratch card and registration.
The
new deadline for sales of scratch cards is Saturday June, 27th 2015.
While the deadline for registration is Tuesday June 30th, 2015.
All previous details concerning the 2015 DE form remains valid.
